What is Heat Shield?
Advanced thin sheet deep drawing processing technology is required to manufacture heat shield. Also, heat shield with a multilayer structure of metal and insulation material and with a vibration damping structure are used not only for automobiles but also it has become an increasingly important product for power generation engines, exhaust pipe insulation, and soundproofing.
Heat shield is a very important part where condensing the combined functions of heat insulation, vibration damping, and soundproofing are required in the engine room as designed, and protect the functions of surrounding parts.
Nimbus GII Heat Shield
This is the "world's first" exhaust system heat shield that breaks the concept of aluminum melting at high temperatures and purposely uses aluminum to reduce weight.

Succeeded in significantly reducing weight to 1/5 of conventional weight.
This was made possible by utilizing the voids created by stacking aluminum sheet materials and combining it with a moment buster that has insulation and vibration damping functions. The weight has been significantly reduced to 1/5 of the conventional steel heat shield.

Reduction of surface temperature
The heat is well distributed without being localized, reducing the surface temperature of the heat shield.

Reduction of noise and engine sound
The noise emitted from the heat shield can be reduced at most frequencies with Nimbus GII.
Moment Buster
Nimbus GⅡ Moment Buster (MB) is a special part that is attached to the heat shield assembly part of the exhaust pipe, which is the highest temperature (over 450℃) in Nimbus GII. It is used to block heat transfer and suppress vibration, and is used in combination with Nimbus GII.
